A: Yes, C J Firminger provide a unique step by step guide to getting your project up and running without paying for large fees upfront. We provide a free outline quotation usually within 10% accurate to give you an idea if you want to go to the next step.
A: The next stage is to book an appointment with a C J Firminger appointed architect together with Chris Firminger. The meeting discusses what you want from your project and we give the best possible advice, ideas and opinions to get your project exactly as you want, along with all other involved fees of the project.
We provide a sketch proposal drawing for a small fee, and from then on provide a full set of planning application drawings to present to the council for approval. If planning is accepted we produce a working building regulation drawing together with all essential structural engineers’ reports to meet the councils building control criteria. On approval of the working drawings, we provide a final quotation ready for work to begin.
A: Usually not, unless it involves a special order, early on in the project. On our smaller projects we invoice at the end of the job, but with our larger jobs we take stage payments which will be agreed and the final stage payment is paid at the end of the job, when al work is carried out to your satisfaction.
A: All C J Firminger employees have been fully trained and we provide fully qualified part P electricians, Corgi registered and fully qualified plumbers along with FENSA appointed window/door fitters. C J Firminger are members of the CITB and Corporate Members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen which allows us the opportunity to send employees on courses to improve their knowledge & skills. All staff are fully uniformed and teams are provided with C J Firminger branded vehicles.
A: Yes, work is guaranteed by an underwritten guarantee, covered through the Guild of Master Craftsmen and C J Firminger provides full public liability cover to £10,000,000.00 along with employees insurance.
